No.18 – Africa 2017 part 4 – Back to Kampala

We were given lunch in the border town of Busia, Uganda by Bp Wilson Waswa who had been helping Sudanese refugees settle into N Uganda and hopes soon to finish the NT in a combined orthography of easyLugwe and neighbouring Lusania – following the insistence of the Ugandan Education Authorities.

So on Mon evening (May 1st) we returned by bus to Kampala to the same ‘Holiday Express Hotel’, and were met again by Taxi Manager George and his Pastor Joseph – who has since started easyLuganda.

We had an 8 -strong meeting on Tues 2nd May with George and his pastor Joseph
Alison Tepe and 2 friends from a university in W Kampala Bishop Eusau, a son of Bishop Samuel Peni and Darius from Juba, South Sudan (doing easyBari). You have to be very brave just to return to Juba these days!. But Pastor Darius hopes to form a team of younger people there to do different easylanguages.
