No.24 – Ethiopia again; Vaiphei certificate; level A Luke’s Gospels; CIO

My usual donations for the developing world are just to send £100 by Western Union for printing Luke’s Gospel – after it is checked and field-tested. Then after all 4 gospels + Acts are finished i send another £200 to buy a new or second-hand Epson printer – so that the team may print and sell their own books – at low prices to the poor.
ETHIOPIA AND MANIPUR, INDIA ARE SETTING WONDERFUL EXAMPLES TO THE WORLD

a time to find more volunteer translators.

I will leave the town for awhile to other regions and try to find well
educated and native translators.
Keep praying for this great project.

PLEASE PRAY THAT GOD WILL MIGHTILY BLESS PASTOR HENOK ON HIS JOURNEY

NOW FROM REVD KHUPKAM VAIPHEI IN MANIPUR :
He has sent me a photo of his new certificate presented on May 24th by Vaiphei Christian Church, East Imphal, Manipur in appreciation of his ‘service of the Lord in ‘reaching the unreached’ and serving the church by looking after church affairs, spiritually and physically (he was also their Finance Secretary) . Sadly the photo’s memory is larger than 1 Mbyte – so i cannot put it on this site. But it is presented on the recommendation of all the Board members. Revd Vaiphei hopes to finish his own NT this year.

SO IN PASTORS HENOK AND KHUPKAM WE HAVE TWO WONDERFUL LEADERS OF EASYBIBLES WHOM I HOPE TO MEET IN JAN/FEB 2018 ( I FIRST MET KHUPKAM IN TOKYO IN 2010).

BUT MOST OF MY CORRESPONDENCE IS WITH THE PEOPLE I MET RECENTLY IN EAST AFRICA – FAITHFULLY LED BY BISHOP ISAAC MAKOKHA :
1. Bp Isaac has himself just finished 1 Corinthians in level A easyLukhayo and aims to finish NTs in easyLukhayo, easyMarachi and easySwahili by the end of 2017 – setting an excellent pace! Bp Isaac is shown testing easyLukhayo with his church in the featured photo.
2. Bp Isaac is also meeting my SIM European friends in Kijabe on June 26/27th to discuss starting easySomali.
3. For the other poorest nation on Earth brother Narcisse from CAR is making good progress with easySango. Coming from a very poor nation and living in a refugee camp Narcisse naturally desires many good things for Camp Rhino and for his nation but my limited funds mean that i need to focus only on easyBibles.
BUT PERHAPS IN THE FUTURE WHEN TEAMS HAVE FINISHED THEIR NEW TESTAMENTS – I CAN INTRODUCE PEOPLE LIKE NARCISSE TO WEALTHY INDIVIDUALS OR STRONG CHURCHES WISHING TO DONATE THROUGH TRUSTWORTHY LEADERS.
4. Kia from South Sudan studying at St. Lawrence’s Universty, Kampala has sent me Luke at level A in easyJuba Arabic
5. Caren from Kisumu, Kenya has sent me Luke at level A in easyDholuo – a big language in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
6. Bp Isaac has brought together a new team in Uganda – Kabaale Benard recruited by Kia at St. Lawrence’s University to work with his friend Stella under the leadership of Revd Joseph Natembeya on easyLuganda. Today they have just told me that 3 gospels are ready at level A!

OUR LONDON MEETING IN THE WEEK BEGINNING OCT 24TH IS LOOKING GOOD WITH EXPERIENCED HELP FOR PASTOR HARKA AND HIS TEAM FROM AN EXPERT ON NEPALI. THIS MAN ADMIRES THEIR WORK AND IS ASSISTING THEM ALREADY BY EMAIL AND IN JAN AIMS TO VISIT THEM IN KATHMANDU.

—————————————————–
PLEASE PRAY FOR JUNE 27TH WHEN THE TREASURER AND I MEET THE BUSINESS MANAGER OF BARCLAYS BANGOR, N. WALES TO SET UP A BANK ACCOUNT FOR OUR NEW CIO.
