They are wonderful people and many have ecouraged ‘easyBibles’.

Their own Mission Statement is ‘Advancing Holistic Transformation through Scholarly Engagement’ and i need to eat more fish (to raise my IQ) before my next visit. Before September, i’ll hand 100 copies of veryeasyArabic to a Palestinian lecturer from a Bible College in Jerusalem; print and deliver 100 copies of veryeasyRawang (my 4th laguage for Burma/Myanmar) to a new friend who is translating it; update my veryeasyKorean (helped by the Executive Director and his friends); listen to more information on educational curricula ideas for Tonga and Polynesia; find out more about a retired missionary from Afghanistan who now lives on Anglesey, Wales; discuss Hausa and other Nigerian languages with the man who bravely allowed his embryonic PhD research to be analysed by such a highly educated group.  This all happened at OCMS in 3 hours.

Also in September, i hope to meet some of the next intake of PhD students from around the world.

Today i’ve had email conversations about Hindi (Nagpur) and Nepali (Katmandu) with friends i met in Tokyo.

We have started with 700 copies of Luke Stories in veryeasyVaiphei for Manipur, India.  As [...]]]> Having successfully started our booklet printing – through the generosity of Cefni Computers, Anglesey, Wales – we are now moving on to Stage 2 – with large numbers of booklets for language projects that we have grown to trust and respect.

We have started with 700 copies of Luke Stories in veryeasyVaiphei for Manipur, India.  As it is much cheaper most will be sent by sea after the first 100 or so by airmail.

We shall soon be moving on to easy and veryeasyFrench, veryeasyArabic, veryeasyUrdu…..

I think I can help in my own way to make pictures for the same stories in an embossing way for the blind children. We already have some books like this to include the blind children with normal children

The book we have already published has domestic and wild animals, sea animals and birds.
We used to prepare embossed pictures for the blind, and it is a very nice idea to make a Christian book with both the normal print, the braille print and embossed pictures.

Please [...]]]> On Fri 11 June i’m a delegate to the Edingburgh 2010 event at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies considering ‘Holistic Mission’; then again on Sat and Sun at Liverpool Hope University where the Edingburgh 2010 theme is about ‘Christian Unity in Mission and Service’. These are, of course, both subjects close to me heart.

Please pray that i may learn much and make useful contacts. I’ll be displaying easyBibles booklets.

It’s good to hear of new easyBibles projects in Bhutan, Myanmar, Egypt, Burundi, Algeria, South Africa, India & Malaysia.

Also need for Christian Radio stn in Indonesia to reach Sarawak. Authorities are more relaxed in Indonesian Borneo than in Sarawak. Also met leader of blind ministry in Iban – Pastor Peter wants braille version of veryeasyIban etc.

I hope to meet future team members for Iban and Indonesian languages as well as some of easyKelabit team.
