A friend has given me a copy of the ‘Poverty and Justice Bible’ - the CEV with important references to the poor highlighted, including Mt 25 v 40 :
‘The king will answer, “Whenever you did it for any of my people, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did it for me.”
Our brothers and sisters, who are severely learning disabled may seem unimportant. Jesus was mocked before Calvary.
For those who cannot read at all, we imagine classes with posters. For those a with some reading ability – perhaps a few captions will be appropriate. I value comments. And we need more artists and cartoonists. We’ve made a start with a group led by our friend Marge at Brixington Community Church, Devon.
